About Me
Hello! I’m so happy you’ve found my page. I am Erika Rodgers and I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who specializes in early childhood behavior and autism, however, I have a passion for helping all people big and small.
I have over 20 years experience working with children who exhibit a variety of challenging behaviors, such as tantrums, aggression, self- injurious behavior, non-compliance, emotional regulation, as well as social skill deficits, and toileting issues all using evidence based, positive behavioral approaches. I have worked as a behavior therapist, special education teacher, ABA program supervisor, and behavioral analyst for many agencies throughout California. In addition to having my own practice, I also supervise over 35 Registered Behavior Tecnicians (RBT’s) who work in special education classrooms throughout North County San Diego schools.
My love for human behavior began shortly after high school, when I began working as a behavioral therapist for children with autism spectrum disorder. After many years of working in homes and schools with ASD clients, I switched my focus to helping parents of all children, neorodivergent and neurotypical. I graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Psychology, minor in Special Education, and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University, where I also complete my BCBA certification.
I currently reside in Vista, California with my amazing little family. I am a wife and mother of two wonderful and energetic children, who always keep my on my toes and remind me that WE ALL need a little help sometimes!
